Description
The purpose of the Quality Inspector is to support the Quality and production teams by following quality assurance practices to ensure that quality parts are being produced in the safest way.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Unload plated parts and strip empty plating racks
- Inspect plated development parts to established standard and OEM specifications
- Properly pack development, production and service parts in its assigned or created packaging
- Communicate defects to the necessary teams
- Complete Inspection Slips with rack identification and scrap information
- Update inspection shift logs with proper information after inspection
- Accurately report scrap
- Bar map and track End Item Testing weekly based on plating schedule
- Monitor and update AUCOS with relevant information
- Keep work area clean and follow all environmental and safety procedures

Requirements:
- Lifting requirements daily 10-50lbs
- Effective written and verbal communications
- Ability to follow work instructions and follow standards

- Previous experience in an Automotive or manufacturing plant
- Relevant work experience involving Quality
