Your Job
Molex is looking for a Quality Technician who will work with various Terminal Department employees as well as external customers and other Molex entities. At various times, the Quality Technician will work with cross-functional teams in Lincoln and other Molex entities. Responsible to lead or support quality improvement initiatives within the Terminal Department.
What You Will Do
- Support role on 8D/corrective action teams.
- Facilitate effective closure of customer complaints with the use of 8Ds in a timely manner
- Verify and validate the effectiveness of corrective actions
- Manage and disposition daily MRB issues
- Complete cycle counts for 050 hold areas
- Help with reporting monthly scrap issues – Engage in PDCA project for high hitters
- Understanding of the operation of the SAP program for product handling
- Understanding of the Stamping and Plating process and the functional aspects of the products produced
- Working knowledge of the Quality Management Systems
- Working knowledge of SPC and other statistical methods
- Proactive in the development of customer quality assurance in the unit
- Support the quality and safety culture
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Effective interpersonal skills, including good communication skills (written and oral)
- Sound decision making, problem-solving, and planning skills
- Ability to lead and work in a team environment as well as independently
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
- Good time management skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pound
What Will Put You Ahead
- High school diploma/GED OR 2 years' QC Inspection experience
- Associate Degree in a STEM field
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies
- Knowledge of problem-solving tools (8D, Ishikawa diagrams, 5 Why, FMEA)
- Knowledge of or auditing experience with IATF and/or ISO 9001 standards
