Your Job
We are currently recruiting for Reliability Technicians for Quilted Northern Ultra Plush® /Retail Tissue. In this role, you will be part of the continued operation and reliability improvements of this production line. This position will work closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Advanced Technicians, other Reliability Technicians, Technicians, and various members of the product system team. This Reliability Technician will work in a high energy, dynamic organization established on the principles of an adaptive work system focused on the execution of reliability strategies. The Reliability Technician will learn, apply and teach the equipment theory of operation and the operational processes.
The pay starts at $21 per hour with competitive benefits and no top out range on pay.

Our Savannah River Mill in Rincon, GA began operations in October 1986 and is considered a world-class operation in the industry. Five of the world's 12 largest tissue paper machines reside at the facility. Our operation is designed to produce products primarily from recycled fiber. We have over 50 converting lines that make the tissue, towel, and napkin products in our retail and away from home markets. Schedule: The Mill operates 24/7 and 365 days per year. Therefore, our mill operates using a 12-hour rotating schedule that includes holidays, weekends, and overtime. Our rotating schedule allows for a regular 14 days off every 4-week period. See example below. DS=Day Shift 6:50 A.M.-7:10 P.M. NS= Night Shift 6:50 P.M.-7:10 A.M. What You Will Do
• Proactively identify hazards and mitigate risk
• Adhere to high standards for quality and product safety
• Operate, maintain and repair equipment to the desired competitive state
• Develop and apply personal knowledge to the level of a subject matter expert relative to
o Risk assessments (HIRA)
o Quality standards and expectations
o Product safety
o Equipment functions
o Theory of operation
• Flow to the highest value work
• Effectively communicate valuable information to the team using a variety of tools (verbal, written, electronic, etc.)
• Apply knowledge and expertise while building and improving asset strategies:
o Evaluate and provide feedback regarding operating targets and limits
o Evaluate and develop operator basic care (OBC) and lube routes
o Evaluate and develop planned work
o Evaluate and develop job plans for preventative maintenance (PM) routes
o Make recommendations on spare parts strategy
• Continuously build Technician's and other Reliability Technician's capabilities
• Actively engage in the development and execution of Zone Ownership and/ or equipment PPR's
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair systems, equipment, components and processes
• Execute shutdown work

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in troubleshooting, adjusting, and repairing production equipment.
- Operations experience in converting or a related manufacturing area.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint- able to open or create documents, edit, and save files.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in work order management systems to initiate repairs and document reliability opportunities (current system is SAP).
- Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- A minimum of two (2) years of operations experience on converting equipment or mill mechanical maintenance experience.
