Optimized Process Designs, LLC is seeking a Senior Piping Designer who is responsible for leading, managing and actively participating in all piping design facets of an EPC project – from early development phase to commissioning and turnover.

What You Will Do In Your Role
- Plot Plan layout and development using Engineering comments and P&IDs.
- 3D Piping Design using Cadworx Plant.
- Extract isometric drawings as dictated by project requirements.
- Maintain high quality of piping drawings and reliability of piping systems design.
- Provide follow-up to ensure all piping systems/drawings have been completed.
- Ability to work within a design team environment.
- Ability to be resourceful and flexible in approaches to solving issues.
- Make site visits as required to verify dimensions, check piping constructability, and provide support to OPD design/field crews and clients.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience preparing 3D piping models.
- Knowledge of industry standards ASME, ASTM, API.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
What Will Put You Ahead
- 20 or more years of work experience preparing piping 3D piping models.
- Experience using AutoCAD design software (i.e. CADWORX).
- Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
