We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our talented team.
SUMMARY
As a Quality Inspector you will be primarily performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections of machined parts. During the inspection process, you will be verifying sizes using conventional gages (i.e., calipers, micrometers, etc.), laser, and CMM equipment. In addition, you will be confirming that documentation meets customer specifications, making special gages, calibrating gages, and supporting production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of machined parts
- Verify sizes using conventional gauges, laser, and CMM equipment
- Confirm that documentation meets customer specifications
- Demonstrate a high regard for safety
- Work required hours necessary to support the demand
SKILLS
- A minimum of 2 years training and practical experience in a metalworking shop environment.
- Practical knowledge of conventional gages (micrometers, calipers, height gages etc.).
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Basic shop math skills.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
- The physical capacity to lift 50 pounds.

- Engineering degree
- Experience in 3D modeling in CAD (Preferably Autodesk Inventor)
