POSITION OVERVIEW:
Systems Engineers execute extensive engineering/scientific support on systems, system elements, interfacing systems, components, devices and/or processes for complex developmental and operational weapon system programs supporting our nation's defense against all types of missiles. The most qualified candidate will have exceptional oral and written communication skills, proficiency in MS Office products, and a demonstrated ability to apply engineering rigor to solve complex problems. Some positions may require experience using analytical tools and programs such as MATLAB, Cameo Enterprise, C/C .
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of engineering tasks related to the development, operation, and maintenance of complex technology systems. Positions may include providing technical assistance or analytical products to the government customer.
- Implements system engineering "V" processes across a program's acquisition life cycle
- Successfully works in a team environment
Engineer level 2 requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (STEM)
- 3 years of experience
- Secret clearance
Engineer level 3 requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (STEM)
- 7 years of experience
- Secret clearance
Engineer level 4 requirements:
- Master's degree (STEM)
- 12 years of experience
- Works independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks
- Ability to apply engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems
- Secret clearance
Across all levels, missile defense-related or other DoD programs/projects is desired, as well as a Top-Secret Clearance. In some cases, military education can be considered in lieu of Bachelor's and master's degrees. Exceptional references required.
