Kodak is looking for a Quality Lab Inspector to join our team.
This position will be trained to work in our PCFF (Professional Commercial Film Finishing) lab and will work both independently and on quality-related team activities. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively through visual and verbal documents &/or emails.
Description of Job:
- The Quality Lab Inspector position will be part of our Operations Team and interacts with engineering, production, and management personnel within the department
- Frequently interact with other personnel in the film flow as needed
- Perform tasks in darkrooms on a regular basis for setting up processes
- Use quality guidelines to make a quality decision, or escalate to appropriate personnel
- Investigate film quality problems to find the source and root cause
- Understand and follow Standard Work processes relative to film quality
- Will occasionally be required to handle chemicals with correct PPE
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must be comfortable both working alone and on team activities
- Must pass a visual test for an examiner
- Must demonstrate proper effective analytical troubleshooting
- Must be able to identify quality problems and communicate effectively with teams
- Must have suitable computer skills needed for recording and analyzing data and documentation
- Must be able to work in the dark or in low-light conditions
- Previous experience with film quality is a plus but not a requirement

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
