Crew Member Position Overview: As a Kokonut Crew Member, you are devoted to bringing the communities together through better and healthier desserts. You bring happiness to every customer through legendary customer experience and gracious hospitality. Our Crew Members need to be well-rounded team players, willing to get their hands dirty and do whatever it takes to keep our store running smoothly! We need this position to go above and beyond, model, and act in accordance with Kokonut's guiding principles. Starting as a Crew Member at Kokonut, you will have plenty of opportunities to learn and grow with the company through our development program.
Crew Member Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Follow Kokonut operational policies and procedures, act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Kokonut
- Complete daily shift checklists in a timely manner
- Monitor refrigerator temperature and product quality to ensure food safety
- Update delivery platform item availabilities to reflect accurate inventory
- Complete daily inventory check to ensure accurate stock level and notify store lead when needed for low stock level items
- Prepare retail, delivery platform, wholesale, catering, and events orders according to health, food safety, sanitation guidelines, and quality standards
- Operate POS system to record daily transactions
- Deliver legendary service to all customers by extending Kokonut’s gracious hospitality
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance, and update availability in a timely manner
- Maintain clean and organized workspace, refrigerators, and kitchen area
- Discover and actively communicate to the store lead for any store related issue
- Dispatch and receive internal transfer as needed
- Actively make and provide samples for potential customers
- Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard
- Learn and maintain knowledge of our changing menu and operational procedures

Work Time: Full-time/part-time, non-exempt status. Ability to work in variable shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/ or holidays, with or without accommodations.

Crew Member Qualifications:
- 18 years old or older
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in retail, sales, customer service or hospitality industry a plus
- Have a current Food Handler’s Card
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Bending, carrying up to 25lbs., climbing, driving, lifting, pushing/pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, and walking for entire shift.
