Summary:
We are seeking a Campus Recruiter whose primary responsibilities include:
- Identifying and attracting top talent from targeted universities / technical and trade schools to build the Co-Op / Intern and Full-Time hire pipeline primarily in the Technical and Operations-related arenas:
- Typical roles include: Field/Project Engineers, Estimators, Supply, Safety, trades, etc.
- Serving as the first point of contact to potential future employees of the company
Responsibilities Include:
- Building and leading sustainable relationships with students, faculty and administrators across multiple universities, technical and trade schools – currently, we network with @ 35-40 schools in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic Region and we typically have 100 Co-Ops / Interns per year;
- Manage all on campus activities, event planning and execution that facilitate the candidate selection and interviewing process, and relay identified resumes to various offices;
- This includes: acting as the Lead at Career Fairs/events you attend, registering for the Fall/Spring Career Fairs, compiling the information for the Team Members if you will not be attending, coordinating and maintaining the inventory of the handouts/marketing swag;
- Assist with scheduling interviews either as Day 2 of the Career Fair or in the near future after returning to the office, helping to facilitate events for after the Career Fair – lunches, dinners, etc.;
- Serve as the point of contact for applicants (and internal Managers) for the entire University / High School recruiting process spectrum – both for Interns/Co-Ops and Full Time/new grad roles;
- Screening applications/resumes and possibly conducting interviews/operations overviews;
- Understanding unique opportunities for engagement at universities and how most effectively we can assess talent and enhance recruiting strategies - research campus activities/clubs;
- Help to arrange and prepare presentations at targeted schools;
- Relaying submittal notes internally to Hiring Managers to facilitate an informed decision/assessment for determining the next step including scheduling interviews;
- Continual maintenance of the ongoing College Recruitment report and utilize our ATS for tracking/corresponding with students;
- Other duties as assigned, special projects/research, etc.
- Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required
- 5 years of experience preferred as a Campus or Corporate Recruiter, or College/University Outplacement Recruiter or Career Placement Advisor
- Recruiting for professional services organizations preferred
- Use multiple sources to recruit potential students including, but not limited to, print and digital media, email, webinars, and social media
- Frequent travel throughout the region, with heightened travel requirements during peak recruiting seasons (January-April; August-November) is required for this position
- Dependable and Responsible
- Hard working and positive
- Strong writing and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task is required
- Efficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
