Job Overview

We have a newly created opportunity for an AI lead with proven capabilities in deep learning, natural language programming (NLP), computer vision, chatbots, and robotics to help us improve various business outcomes and drive innovation. As the lead, you will spearhead the development and execution of the strategy, implementation, and evolution of (generative) AI technologies across our organization. You will join a multidisciplinary team helping to shape our AI strategy and showcasing the potential for AI through early-stage solutions. Partnering with technical teams, service providers, and business stakeholders, you will help identify and deploy an innovative / effective, scalable use-case centric approach to leverage AI and keep us at the cutting edge. Key Job Responsibilities

  • Advise C-suite executives and business leaders on a broad range of technology, strategy, and policy issues associated with AI.
  • Work on functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures, in collaboration with an advanced engineering team and executive leadership.
  • Articulate and document the solutions architecture and lessons learned for each exploration and accelerated incubation.
  • Build AI foundation for incorporating generative AI, large language models, etc. in our ecosystem and advocate for its use.
  • Identify AI use-case and design effective solutions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keep abreast with AI, machine learning and related trends, research, and applications to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Align AI initiatives with business goals through stakeholder collaboration.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of AI models and systems, iteratively improving accuracy, precision, and recall.
  • Optimize and fine-tune AI models for scalability and efficiency.
  • Implement best practices and standards for AI development and usage within the organization.
  • Lead and mentor an interdisciplinary team of AI ambassadors, cultivating a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Document code, methodologies, and results to deliver knowledge sharing and create reference materials.
  • Ensure the security, privacy, and ethical usage of AI systems and data.

You Need to Have:

  • A degree in Data Science, AI, computer science or a related field; Master's degree is strongly preferred.
  • 10 years of hands-on IT experience deploying cutting edge capabilities with
    • At least 2 years of experience in managing AI and machine learning projects in a business context.
    • At least 3 years of experience with Python and popular ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and OpenAI.
    • At least 2 years of experience in applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions.
    • At least 3 years of full-stack experience (Backend: APIs, Cloud environments, Front-end frameworks).
    • Prior IT leadership experience
  • Experience with data science & usage of large language models in real-world applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, and Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in program leadership, governance, and change enablement.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Icing on the Cake:

  • Experience with innovation accelerators.
  • Experience with cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services including Co-Pilot & Cognitive Search.
  • Prior experience in product based heavy manufacturing industry is a plus.
