Job Overview
As a Field Service Technician, you will provide on-site support by maintaining and repairing all Komatsu equipment using both Mechanical and Welding applications in a shop or field environment.

Travel to various sites to provide technical support and troubleshooting

Assist with truck assemblies and commissioning checks

Provide detailed service reports and deliver excellent customer service

Use of judgement to plan, perform and made decisions as the sequence of set-ups, operations and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures

Responsibility to prevent damaged due to mistakes or carelessness to equipment or materials

Understands Welding and Cutting Applications including air arcing, and dual shield wire

Continuous mental and visual attention; usually repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity

Clean tools, clean equipment, paint and grease equipment as needed

Prevent loss which may result from negligent inspection or testing; from spoilage or wastage of raw or in process materials

Will work with a higher Welder or Mechanic to learn to interpret blueprints, operate electrical power tools and pneumatic power tools as well as learning how to follow a scope of work

Over 1 year up to and including 3 years mechanical experience and/or weld experience in a similar job, is a plus

Ability to interpret and understand complicated drawings, specifications, charts and tables

Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work

CDL Class B License, is a plus
