Komatsu is currently searching for a Sr. Financial Analyst for our Accounting Department in Longview, Texas. Komatsu offers competitive salary, excellent benefits and annual merit/bonus potential.
- Perform assigned month-end GLJs for closing.
- Perform assigned month-end reporting and reconciliations.
- Review SG&A spending and variance analysis with Sr. leadership for Engineering, Product Support, Marketing and Admin.
- Perform all warranty related accounting activities for month-end, quarter-end, year-end and support warranty and QA KPI reporting and reviews.
- Support and track direct and indirect expenses for NPD products.
- Functioning as FP&A expert for annual business planning, quarterly outlook for Longview Non-Mfg CC budget. Support corporate FP&A request and reporting. Prepare materials and perform executive reviews to Surface Mining Sr. leaderships for Non-Mfg CC.
- Support Engineering and R&D related Capex budgeting and planning.
- Support internal and external audit for 3 legal entities.
- Facilitate quarterly SOX audit within Longview accounting team.
- Assist in updating SAP release strategy and security access approval process according to DOA and SOD
- Support annual fixed asset audit.
- Complete or assist with special projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- CPA/CMA or master's degree in related fields strongly preferred
- 3- 5 years' experience in a corporate accounting or finance department role at a public and global company
- Strong desire to learn with the ability and aptitude to understand systems and processes
- Strong computer skills (advanced in Excel and Power BI) with prior SAP experience strongly preferred
- Solid problem-solving skills with an attention to detail. Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Effective communication skills with all levels - Especially sr. leadership level.
- Ability to work effectively in a high growth environment and a rapidly changing organization
