What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Strategist position at Konnect Agency?
Konnect Agency is looking to add a talented Digital Strategist to our team of digital marketers, contributing elevated digital strategies, measurement and reporting to our current content development, social media strategy and influencer relations programming. The individual in this position will be reporting directly to the leadership on our Digital team. You will be responsible for the planning and development of digital strategies with ideation, planning, benchmarking, analytics and coaching as primary functions in this role.
Key responsibilities include, and are not limited to, review of backend analytics on social media platforms for optimization of programming and content strategies, maximizing efficiencies including use of Sprout social and other tools in performance, benchmarking and reporting across all platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. Some day-to-day execution and management of social media advertising, display advertising and retargeting. The right person can drive both strategy and execution, is analytical and collaborative, has a passion for digital marketing, is comfortable with client relations, and welcomes the opportunity for growth within our field
Responsibilities:
· Develop strategies that take into consideration the brand objectives, target audiences, market segmentation, budget and KPIs across all social and digital media
· Apply knowledge of social media algorithms to develop strategies designed to engage target audiences, drive general awareness, impact growth and generate sales on applicable platforms
· Lead the development of ad sets to support client objectives (prospecting, driving sales, retargeting, etc.) and continually refine and optimize
· Provide recommendations and plans for paid media strategies focused on driving traffic (online and in stores), trial and visibility
· Create detailed audience and market segmentation presentations with specific demographic and psychographic information that justifies our overall tactics
· Manage client expectations and your workload to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of results
· Understand how your work fits into the overall brand strategy
· Analyze the success of programs and communicate results to support recommendations for future programs
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of experience in social media management, influencer relations and/or digital advertising
· Demonstrated ability to write content, drive creative and build campaigns
· Experience with a variety of social media/networking platforms, media buying and reporting
· Exceptional communication skills: both verbal and written
· BA degree or equivalent
· Experience in prior role supporting growth of a brand via a variety of digital strategies is required - agency experience is a plus, but not required
