Forge Operator

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Operator to join our team. As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment such as press brake machines, forklifts, welding equipment, machining tools, plasma cutting machines, cranes, stamping presses, milling machines, and laser cutting machines

- Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper calibration

- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality output and make necessary adjustments as needed

- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements:

- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine operations

- Experience operating press brake machines, forklifts, welding equipment, machining tools, plasma cutting machines, cranes, stamping presses, milling machines, and laser cutting machines is highly preferred

- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements

- Excellent math, problem - solving skills and be mechanically inclined

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
