Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and effectively. This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage a team.

Packaging Supervisor Essential Job Functions:

• Must be able to read, understand and follow all department GMP's and relevant SOP's
• Responsible for all production and safety matters pertaining to his/her assigned area of responsibility
• Responsible for meeting all requirements leading to production line and product release
• Assign daily production goals/objectives to subordinate leaders
• Continuously trains, monitors, and supports the personnel assigned to his/her area of responsibility
• Ensure the accuracy of daily activities and documentation of his/her designated areas
• Responsible for the safety and cleanliness of designated department and surrounding area
• Obtains and develops skills and knowledge from other departments/operation areas for flexibility and teamwork purposes
• Be able to execute other tasks assigned by senior management

Packaging Supervisor Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Must understand and apply information contained in product documentation / specification applicable to the packaging operation
• Calculate, track and justify production gains and losses
• Express ideas and thoughts clearly in both verbal and written form
• Display problem solving skills and willingness to make decisions and explain reasons
• Maintain department's quality and safety standards
• Must be able to train and monitor performance of subordinate personnel
• Exhibit good judgement in daily management activities
• Strong communication skills
• Basic math skills

Packaging Supervisor Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus
• Must have prior Supervisory experience
• 3 years minimum experience as Packaging Line Leader
• Must speak English and Spanish

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
