Job Posting for Automation Concept and Simulation Engineer at Koops, Inc.
The Automation Concept and Simulation Engineer creates and grows the development of business proposals to potential and existing customers.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate can:
- Utilize mechanical simulation software such as Visual Components to create models of proposed automation solutions.
- Lead and execute the risk mitigation activities on incoming work.
- Lead concept development to find the best value for the customer, best opportunity for Koops, and limits the technical risk of specified projects.
- Conduct project risk reviews to gather team feedback and mitigate technical risk.
- Grow and manage the concepts library.
- Evaluate the RFQ and supporting documents to incorporate customer requirements accurately and completely into the project deliverables.
- Provide the quote team with sufficient concept detail to incorporate into the quote file and additional information as required to assist the selling process.
Candidates should have:
- Four-year college or university degree in Engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years of operations experience in a technical role; or three years of operations experience an engineering degree.
- Ability to travel
