Position Summary:

Organizes and directs the daily activities of functions of imaging registration, scheduling in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for supervising Imaging scheduling and registration personnel providing clerical support to the Imaging Department

  • Assists with timecard management, coordinates activities and schedules work assignments to meet needs of the organization

  • Performs all scheduling and registration duties within assigned areas to support staff and fills in as needed

  • Responsible for training assigned staff

  • Works with other Imaging leadership to ensure registration and scheduling activities meet the needs of all imaging departments

  • Generates reports and able to handle multiple projects

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function

  • Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned


Requirements and Minimum Qualifications :


  • Associates degree required

  • Minimum 3 years of pertinent full time experience required


Working Conditions:


  • Must be able to maintain a sitting position

  • Typical equipment used in an office job

  • Repetitive movements
