Target Pay Range: $100,000-$130,000/year, depending on level of relevant experience and qualifications
About us:
Headquartered nearby Westminster, CA, our client is a privately held, diversified manufacturing organization. The newly appointed CFO is seeking a strong accounting manager to support the financial professionalization of the organization. This role will report directly to CFO, and work closely with CFO, CEO, and other senior management at company subsidiaries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the CFO on monthly and quarterly deliverables to the Board, including full set of financial statements, KPIs, market analysis and commentaries
- Prepare financial statements to ensure transactions and consolidations are properly reflected and in accordance with GAAP
- Perform month-end account close procedures and reconciliations for various domestic and international entities
- Prepare general ledger entries and provide proper supporting documentation for audit
- Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data.
- Assist in Corporate Finance functions, including weekly cashflow projections, long-term financial projections and annual budget.
- Assist in implementing new accounting policies and procedures
- Analyze vendor activity and assist with accounts payable and treasury functions as needed
- Ad-hoc reports as requested
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting roles, with a focus on manufacturing or similar industries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience with ERP systems including D365 preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and presentation skills for convey complex financial information.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work effectively in a team environment/
- Strong attention to detail and ability to map and follow processes
