Maintenance Leadership Role, Building Materials World Leader, Western United States

An established world leader in the development and manufacture of building material has an urgent need for a Maintenance Leadership role over all maintenance at the Western US manufacturing site.

A picturesque setting that has healthy and meaningful places for families to work, live, learn and play.

The position is responsible for leading the entire Maintenance Department and has accountability for insuring that all plant areas and equipment are maintained and operated in an efficient, safe, and reliable manner.

Qualified candidates should have experience in the following areas :

  • BS degree a must. Preferably in Engineering
  • Strong people skills : Bring a coaching style, good comm skills, personable, team player, mentor. Should have experience overseeing a Maintenance Team preferably 20 employees.
  • Must have extensive maintenance management experience in an industrial manufacturing environment out of building materials such as insulation, wall board / gypsum, shingles, glass, chemicals, or related products a plus.
  • Must have experience in developing TPM Standards in Maintenance and supporting across the plant / division.
  • Must have an initiative-taking approach; preventative / predictive maintenance.
