Business Analyst - Security Focus (IAM/CIAM) 100% Remote
Company Overview: KornFerry is seeking a Business Analyst for a large Pharmaceuticals Company who is also a leading provider of innovative medical devices, dedicated to improving patient care and outcomes. As we embark on a multi-year project to integrate Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) into our medical devices, we are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a security focus to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of CIAM solutions, particularly focusing on customer identity management using Okta.
Position Overview: As a Business Analyst with a security focus, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, identifying security risks, and designing solutions to integrate CIAM into our medical devices. Your primary focus will be on customer identity management using Okta, ensuring seamless and secure access for users while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, product development, and security to gather and analyze business requirements related to CIAM integration.


2. Conduct thorough analysis of existing IAM systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.


3. Work closely with stakeholders to define use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria for CIAM implementation.


4. Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address security vulnerabilities in the CIAM framework.


5. Utilize Okta and other IAM tools to design and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for customer access to medical devices.


6. Develop and maintain documentation including system requirements, architectural diagrams, and process flows for CIAM integration.


7. Provide guidance and support to development teams during the implementation phase, ensuring alignment with security best practices and standards.


8. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate training sessions for end-users on CIAM functionality and security protocols.


9. Monitor and analyze CIAM performance metrics, identifying opportunities for optimization and scalability.


10. Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in IAM and cybersecurity, incorporating best practices into CIAM implementation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.


• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably with a focus on security and IAM.


• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and practices.


• Hands-on experience with CIAM platforms, particularly Okta, is highly desirable.


• Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR.


• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.


• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are a plus.
