What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Experience & Sales Specialist position at Koss Creative Brands?

Customers are the lifeblood of our business - a Customer Experience & Sales Specialist helps the business grow by fostering profitable relationships with our retailers. This role will be responsible for growing sales as well as ensuring customers get everything they need in the most positive way possible and leave every transaction with a positive view of our business and our brands.

You're the solutions expert for our retailers. You help them grow their business and build positive relationships with their customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all customer communication (phone calls and emails) in a positive and timely manner
  • Help prospective retailers through the application process in order to become authorized retailers (dealers)
  • Navigate various software platforms to manage customer details and order information
  • Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to rectify issues pertaining to inventory (misshipped or mislabeled product, missing items, refunds, production flaws, etc.)
  • Process returns and/or create replacement orders, as needed
  • Communicate customer needs at daily and weekly meetings to ensure problem resolution
  • Other tasks as directed by management

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum high school/GED required, Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 2 years customer service and/or sales experience preferred
  • Natural self-starter who is organized and detail-oriented
  • Broad knowledge of the entire sales process
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Strong communicator, both written and oral, with the ability to present ideas both clearly and concisely
  • Positive attitude and reliable!
  • Willingness to travel to various retailers for site visits is encouraged, but travel is not required for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $32,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
  • customer service or sales: 2 years (Preferred)
