- Tuition Reimbursement**
- Read the work order and perform set ups, change overs and adjustments for the order.
- Properly monitors extrusion production including produced product, equipment, performs quality checks on product and maintains the coiling area
- Assist to start reels, set up and monitors product for quality and conformity
- Monitors operating parameters of product and extrusion equipment to confirm that product materials and quality requirements are being met
- Maintains accurate documentation of all product dimensions on production reports and accurately tracks “Lost Production Hours” including the reasons for lost time
- Ensures pipe is marked with proper print line as specified in the quality manual
- Follows all company-standard and position-specific safety requirements, and reports any unsafe working conditions or broken equipment
- Follows and complies with all company policies and procedures
- Additional duties as required
- MUST HAVE MACHINE OPERATOR EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
- 1-year manufacturing experience required
- 1-year extrusion machine operator experience preferred
- Ability to speak, read and write English, fluently..Bi-lingual a Plus!
- Ability to perform simple math, and take measurements required
- Must be able to recognize colors
- Nice to have: Working knowledge of extruders, printers, reelers, quality control standards, and product specifications
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Understanding of paperwork procedures and documentation requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance
- Ability to spend up to 12 hours a shift on foot around hot machinery
- Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects, pushing and pulling objects
- For Tuition reimbursement you must be a full-time employee and complete one continuous year of employment. You will receive $5,000 a year for undergrad and $7,500 a year for grad.**
