What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brand Ambassador position at Koval Distillery?
KOVAL Distillery, Chicago’s first distillery since the mid-1800s, known for its organic spirits, is seeking an upbeat individual to be a Brand Ambassador for the Chicago suburbs. This role is responsible for working with the distributor and buyers providing account level representation of KOVAL’s products. This role also interacts with the public through tastings at retail accounts, charitable events, festivals, and other promotional activations. There are also opportunities to travel as part of this role, if interested. This role comes with growth opportunities.
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Work to become a preferred brand both on and off premise.
- Educate distributor representatives on the brand and help promote KOVAL into their accounts.
- Able to plan weekly schedules dedicating time in the market visiting on and off-premise accounts and administrative responsibilities, such as daily/weekly reports, follow-ups, and representing KOVAL at events.
- Schedule and work with distributor personnel consistently to ensure our accounts are being supported through orders, tasting opportunities, and general follow-ups.
- Conduct staff training for accounts and retailers.
- Provide sampling at off-premise accounts, charitable events, and other promotional opportunities. This includes setup and teardown before and after events.
- Provide excellent customer service and engage consumers through education on KOVAL’s story, products, processes, and business practices.
- Engage with KOVAL’s partners (managers, organizers, etc.) in an easy and fun manner in order to build relationships and leave a meaningful impression.
- Request and coordinate samples/supplies ahead of every event.
- Track shift times by clocking in and out via KOVAL’s platform.
- Submit event recaps in a timely manner (no more than 24 hours after the event).
- Submit account activities into KOVAL’s system.
- Communicate any issues regarding feedback from consumers and accounts.
- Maintain a positive and professional image of the brand
- Help make KOVAL better.

- Organizational skills and thorough follow through.
- Sales oriented mindset without being overbearing
- Sales experience or demo experience--a plus!
- Theater or comedy background--a plus!
