KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Tax to join our Finance & Accounting Partner Taxes organization.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare net income, gross income tax, and personal property tax filings
• Support state and local tax audits
• Prepare state and local tax sales, property, and payroll apportionment data
• Obtain and review state and local tax forms and ordinances from various jurisdictions
• Update tax forms to incorporate current year legislative changes
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed

Qualifications :

• Minimum one year of recent tax / accounting experience, preferably in State and Local Tax Compliance
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting or related field
• Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; solid technology skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Able to work overtime during peak tax seasons
