The Strategic Audit Growth Delivery Center is our integrated national delivery center focused on leveraging advanced technology and various delivery channels to deliver end-to-end audit services to one of the fastest-growing areas of our Audit practice. Acting as one of our strategic growth engines, the Alternative Investment Fund practice in our Asset Management & Private Equity sector is expected to grow at a rate that outpaces the market. Our Asset Management team deploys actionable solutions that affect our core growth strategy and transformational service delivery center. KPMG is currently seeking an Audit Manager to join this rapidly growing area of our Audit practice.
Responsibilities:
- Direct both onshore and offshore resources to deliver end-to-end audits to our private fund sponsors in accordance with relevant regulatory and professional auditing and assurance standards
- Conduct overall supervision and management of end-to-end workflow
- Maintain a working knowledge of and research findings regarding accounting literature trends and technical issues relevant to Asset Management & Private Equity clients
- Partner with senior levels of leadership in the firm throughout engagements
- Use emerging technologies including Audit Automation Tools, with a focus on developing future state audit procedures
- Work to understand and utilize KPMGs Audit Methodology
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of current and/or recent financial statement audit experience within a public accounting firm
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university and licensed CPA in home office state
- Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Public Company Oversight Board (PCAOB) Auditing Standards
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in the Asset Management & Private Equity Sector is desirable but not a prerequisite
- Significant fund audit experience preferred
