KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Technology Enablement for our Consulting practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership across all aspects of business development, client service delivery, and enablement to support expansion of KPMG's Data Platforms practice
- Offer leadership and support in managing technical design and development activities, as well as installation and configuration, for key solutions using Databricks in leading Cloud environments
- Lead and manage cloud-based data solutions, for data engineering, data science and machine learning using Databricks Delta Lake, MLflow and Koalas through all phases of the project lifecycle with blended onshore/offshore teams that range in size from five to twenty-five team members
- Mentor and provide guidance to other members of the Data platforms practice, and contribute thought leadership focused on the development and evolution of our data management and delivery methodologies
- Direct and support business development activities, including identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities as well as support the vendor relationship with Databricks
Qualifications:
- Minimum of eight years of experience in design, development and implementation of Data Management Programs specifically in a professional services consulting firm
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, any of the Engineering disciplines or a related field from an accredited college/university
- Be a well-established leader in cloud modernization, data engineering, data science and machine learning, and/or data management experience with cloud-based data platforms
- Proven track record of managing customer-centric data management and governance solutions using Cloud based products across a complex portfolio of stakeholders and fostering the development of high-performance teams (both onshore and offshore)
- Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with an ability to extract, translate and communicate meaningful information at all levels of executives, Senior Managers, and Associates across business and technology organizations
- Exhibit strong knowledge of the Databricks and Cloud based ecosystem; ability to clearly articulate the value proposition of Databricks and cloud products across a wide range of stakeholders
- Travel as needed
