KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Enterprise Resilience Office Operations Officer to join our Operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Be accountable for supporting the firm's Enterprise Resilience Office oversight of business continuity planning, crisis management and IT disaster recovery
- Function as an industry expert, responsible for managing and improving related processes, policies, controls, reporting and automation; serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholder teams and executive sponsors to reduce risk, prepare for disruption and recover from crisis events
- Own the governance framework, processes and supporting tools; track and report metrics and insights to senior leadership, clients, and department leaders
- Act as a significant contributor to innovation that has impact and creates a high financial, client value, and efficiency impact within department
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and strategy of the continuity program; set tactical plans for execution of strategic objectives
- Serve as trusted advisor to clients and others within the firm to achieve the required goals and objectives; mentor team members; act as proxy for Enterprise Resilience Office senior leadership in their absence
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience with digitizing risk, continuity, and crisis processes with an industry standard product; has lead continuity planning and crisis response function
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Advanced knowledge in the application of Business Continuity Management including Continuity Planning, Crisis Management, and IT Disaster Recovery with working knowledge of related disciplines including Risk, Sourcing and Governance, with ability to use this knowledge to create incremental value and technical strategy
- Working knowledge of applying industry BCM products; ability to manage change and effectively communicate to teams
- Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
- Ability to foster the development of high-performance teams; capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization; must be able to set and execute strategic initiatives for team
