KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Engineer, End User Computing to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical, operational leadership and provide input of strategy for the EndPoint Service teams, which includes accountability for desktop analysis, product design, package deployment, performance tuning, desktop integration testing and trouble-shooting activities; ensure proper day-to-day operations of the End User Computing stack
- Oversee and direct the portfolio of department work/activities, resource management, budget development/tracking, project tracking, status reporting for leadership and escalation management; provide integration services to owners of various provisioning targets
- Support and maintain the environments for standard IT organization's desktop products such as CrashPlan, Ivanti, SCCM, Client and Host based virtual machines and Active Directory/GPO; partner with the service owners of security products such as WatchDox, Defender, Dell Data Protection Encryption to ensure seamless support
- Interface with key stakeholders, end users, and multiple IT organization's departments including the Service Desk, Deskside Support Services, Digital Workplace Experience, Technology Engineering, various application houses and more, to ensure robust service delivery
- Fulfill performance management responsibilities for the department including goal setting, interim/year end reviews, coaching and more
- Review performance metrics associated with services provided and drive continual service improvements regardless of where the technology components, skills or processes reside
Qualifications:
- Minimum eight years of recent experience with advanced knowledge of the following technologies & protocols: TCP/IP, Server & Desktop Operating Systems and hardware, Network Analyzers, Voice over IP, IP Telephony, Wireless (Wi-Fi), Identity Based Networking, Voice Communications, Caching, Content Distribution, LAN/WAN Components, Protocols and Concepts, Enterprise WAN design, MPLS, QoS, Network Security (Authentication & Authorization); minimum three years of recent experience leading technical teams
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Client Based VPNs, Physical MediaTypes, Database and Storage Components & Capacity Planning, Desktop Security & Productivity Suites; experience with common desktop features and integrations such as Bitlocker, Hello For business, Okta, Conditional Access, One Drive
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), Intune, Autopilot, and Microsoft Defender
- Strong knowledge of data analysis and statistical measurements/reporting; excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
- Must be able to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives for a team as well as foster the development of high-performance teams and interface with all levels of the organization; ability to participate in development of resource plans and structures and influence organizational priorities
