KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Support foundational AWS requirements for providing a big data environment
  • Ensure that APIs are written as per coding standards, hardened by applying security standards, and thoughtfully implemented to optimize the application for speed and efficiency
  • Write AWS Glue scripts for data ingestion for multiple data sources
  • Write AWS scripts to automate tasks using Pythons and AWS CloudFormation to automate deployments
  • Cross-collaborate with product manager, designers, and QA in an autonomous, supportive team environment
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Takes initiative to understand, measure, and solved the most important business problems with holistic and sustainable solutions
  • Define, implement, and enforce standards for best practices in software development

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of Cloud Engineering experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MIS from an accredited college/university preferred
  • Experience working in the Agile process for software development projects and supporting such tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git repository
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Redshift Spectrum, S3, AWS Console and Athena
  • Good understanding and hands-on with RDBMS's - MySQL or Postgres
  • Ability to write AWS scripts to automate tasks using Javascript or Python
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal government security clearance within a reasonable period of time, which requires U.S.citizenship
