KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Security Monitoring Operations to join our Global Information Technology Group which is part of KPMG International.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the day-to-day availability of the key tools, technology and teams delivering the GSOC SMR service
- Oversee the security analysts to ensure ongoing delivery and development across various domains, including risk management, information security controls, incident analysis, incident response, security monitoring
- Act as a contact and aid with Incident Management and coordination, supporting any required escalation (this will include on-call rotation where necessary)
- Support GSOC Operations Manager with operationalizing new monitoring technology and improvements
- Facilitate audit and compliance cycles with key requirements and input related to SMR service
- Remain up to date with existing and emerging monitoring and preventative security technologies in use within KPMG
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent IT or security operations experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, or relevant professional experience
- CISSP or CISA or CISM Certifications or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience of cloud technologies, in particular Microsoft Azure
- Advanced understanding of information security, incident handling & response processes
- Superior knowledge in: Firewalls, VPN, Intrusion detection and prevention systems, anti-virus and content filtering, URL filtering, authentication solutions, switches, routers, VoIP, DMZ
