KPMG is currently seeking a SharePoint Web Content Developer to join our Digital Nexus Technology organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the US One Intranet Taxonomy Term Sets to ensure accuracy and avoid errors/near duplicates in terms; work directly with Site Owners to review requests and provide guidance when new terms and changes are requested; manage the execution of all Term Set changes in the US One Intranet Term Store
- Lead annual review of Taxonomy Term Sets with stakeholders to ensure terms are update and/or retired per changes in the business; serve as an SME to educate Site Owners/Content Managers on how to successfully use Term Sets as well as other options to organize content at the site level (Local site terms)
- Maintain guidance materials for Site Owners/Content Managers for effective term set tagging of content (pages, documents and lists); lead the configuration and maintenance of Enterprise Search; oversee search enhancements by working directly with stakeholders to collaborate on search optimization, document enhancement requirements and work with global product team for enhancement consideration
- Be responsible for testing Search enhancements from global product team and provide recommendations for implementation in US One Intranet
- Guide the implementation of Featured Results and Ad Words which includes development of request procedures, working with requestors to provide guidance and suggestions for adjustments as appropriate, and process for tracking and maintenance
- Maintain guidance materials for Site Owners/Content Managers on how Search works and best practices for increasing relevancy of content in Search results; participate in the execution of the US One Intranet Governance program; contribute to the metrics program; assist with answering Site Owner/Content Manager questions as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience managing information architecture for organizing intranet content
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Experience with SharePoint intranet search
- Advanced SharePoint Online knowledge and experience in configuring and managing SharePoint sites including permissions, pages, documents, and lists
- Strong problem-solving skills to investigate issues and develop proposals for resolution
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to be able to work directly with business stakeholders
