The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Production Clerk to work at our facility in Muscatine, IA. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated and be willing to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment.

The Production Clerk will provide assistance to the supervisors with the day-to-day needs of the operations teams.

Job Overview :

Responsibilities & Duties :

• Enters all daily HOTS data, all daily production reports from KCS and SSV, and all daily production downtime events and related reasons into proper Excel tracking tools.
• Ensures sufficient blank copies of HOTS downtime documents are copied and available for line operators and leaders for both KCS and SSV and files them into proper file access locations.
• Assists getting temporary employees trained and in positions where needed and updates Job Specific Standard Instructions for KCS and SSV.
• Assists CI Leads where necessary to ensure updated Job Standard Instructions fulfill KHMS requirements.
• Assists line leads and supervisors with classroom training such as Word, Excel, Outlook, or HOTS documentation training.
• Ensures methods of filing both paper and electronic are current with factory document control standards.
• Performs calculations with minimal supervision and high rate of accuracy.
• May be required to answer phone calls, lead meetings and / or take notes at meetings.
• Performs case or other unit of measure calculations when reconciling production data.
• Performs additional assignments as needed by Supervisor.
• Attends meetings as required by manager.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma (an Associate’s degree is preferred)
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees
• Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment - must include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and demonstrated skills in database management and recordkeeping
• SAP experience is preferred
• 2 years of similar experience
• Must be able to exercise discretion and judgment because of access to confidential information
