What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper (AP) position at Kramer?
The Finance team in our Clinton, NJ office is looking for a talented and experienced Bookkeeper to join growing team! The Bookkeeper will perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks related to accounts payable within Finance and Accounting.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Books invoices according to company procedures for accounts payable
- Oversees credit cards, standing order, and proforma expenses
- Completes vendor reconciliations (including proforma invoices)
- Prepares and submit reports to the tax authorities (856)
- Ensures books are in accordance with tax regulations and company guidelines
- Prepares all payments
- Assists in the monthly closing routines
- Manages supplier master data
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a similar discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Bookkeeper
- Experience working with inventory at global company is a plus
- Knowledge of setting up and performing all tax-relevant reports
- Experience working with ERP – Priority is preferred
- Must be fluent in and able to communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and operate with a high level of confidentiality as needed
- Excellent organization skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, with a positive, “can-do” attitude
