GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Facility Security Officer (FSO) responsible for developing and implementing an industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met. The successful candidate will interface with all levels of Kratos C5ISR and government personnel to ensure contract security compliance. The FSO should have in-depth knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)/32 CFR Part 117 and Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
Active Top Secret security clearance preferred.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:
BA/BS in Business related field or equivalent experience.
Three (3) plus years’ experience in security programs as FSO or Four (4) years in a related field.
Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), Physical Security, and International Operations DoDM 5205.07, and ICD 705.
Familiarity with DFARS 252.204-7012.
Preferred:
Experience in preparing and delivering training and implementing Industrial Security policies and procedures.
COMSEC (Communication Security) experience a plus.
WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Office environment.
Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Implement and maintain company Industrial Security program in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Perform as account manager for Defense Information Security Systems (DISS)/Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT)/National Industrial Security System (NISS)/National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) and eAPP.
- Design and present continuing Industrial Security education for the programs.
- Assist in the investigations of security incidents and prepare reports specifying preventive actions.
- Participate in security compliance audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Assist in the preparation of manuals establishing procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting access to restricted areas, records, and materials.
- Communicate succinct observations and recommendations to the site leadership that promote the safety and security of company personnel, the facility's assets, and interests.
- Must be a self-driven and results oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently across a diverse program landscape with minimal oversight.
- Possess the ability to handle multiple priorities under deadlines as required.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills to work with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Can support off-hour operations requirements as needed.
- Provide clear guidance to company employees, and recommend modifications to operations, policies, or procedures as appropriate.
- Initiating, reviewing, and processing Personnel Security Clearances and Periodic Reinvestigations.
- Other duties may be assigned.
