The Configuration Management (CM) Specialist will coordinate configuration management activities in support of program end item configuration. Analyzes and executes industry CM standards. Develops and executes processes for assessing program configuration requirements and configuration deliverables. Coordinates hardware/software configuration items and technical data packages for product end items.
Experience and Skills:
Required Skills:
- Develops, maintains and updates CM processes
- Applies knowledge of external industry standards to internal processes and procedures
- Develops CM metrics and analyzes trends for process improvements
- Processes engineering documentation, drawings, and change orders
- Knowledge of software configuration management and/or software coding
- Reviews and processes contract deliverables against contract requirements
- Coordinates with other disciplies in support of end item technical date package requirements
- Experience implementing CM principles throughout the lifecycle of a program
- Experience using version control tools
- Experience supporting physical and functional configuration audits
- Experience working within defense
- Familiarity with EIA-649 standards
- Experience in MS Office suite of tools
