Our Electrical Engineer supports multidisciplinary electrical design teams in the electrical engineering analyses, design, drafting, development, testing and support of hardware training systems. Efforts include all related electrical engineering requirements including but not limited to circuit design, power distribution, IO, cables/wiring/harnesses, load management, displays, and electrical hardware connector methods in support of program objectives and requirements. Works collaboratively with Senior Electrical Engineers, Project Engineers, Manufacturing, Logistics, Mechanical, Quality, Test and other technical disciplines as part of a combined integrated product team. Supports Senior Electrical Engineering efforts. Provides status input and tracking of assigned tasks. Interfaces with customers and working level corporate personnel.
- Design and test electrical systems and components for our products, including printed circuit boards (PCBs), power supplies, and wiring harnesses.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that electrical systems are integrated with other components and meet project requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and develop solutions to ensure that products meet performance and reliability standards.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the development of new products and features.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in electrical engineering and design tools.

Required Experience:
PRIMARY
- Ability to apply engineering disciplines to support design, development, implementation and operation activities
- Ability to work under general supervision, follows established procedures, and solves routine problems in the engineering discipline
- Ability to assist in definition, trade-off and design activity
- Ability to review, evaluate, and analyze designs
- Ability to prepare, review, and evaluate documentation, specifications, test plans and procedures.
- Ability to assist in definition, analysis and allocation of requirements
- Ability to support test programs and analyzes testing
- Ability to conduct analysis of requirements and components and supports audits conducted to ensure intended functionality and performance is achieved
- Ability to create electrical designs, electrical modeling, and electrical testing
JOB SKILLS:
Required
- Possesses strong working knowledge of Electrical Engineering industry practices, standards and technology areas
- Ability to perform designs using AutoCAD
Preferred
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of training system electrical design and factor of safety requirements
- Good reasoning abilities. Sound judgment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bacheloris Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or
- Minimum of two (2) years of job related experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Smoke free environment, standard office setting.
