Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Duties:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Scan items, collect payments, and provide accurate change
- Process credit card transactions and validate identification when necessary
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to effectively communicate with customers
- Assist customers with locating products and answering any inquiries they may have
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to sell products and promote additional items or services
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Prior customer service or retail sales experience is preferred
- in Spanish or other languages is a plus
