What are the responsibilities and job description for the Music and Audio Production Instructor position at Kre8ivU Multimedia Academy?
Teach music production to middle and high school students using a digital audio workstation. The teacher applicant should be familiar with the music/audio production process for artists, commercials, games, Foley, and ADR. It is necessary to be proficient in the usage of a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) to generate music and audio editing.
You will be dealing with young students and must maintain a high-energy, fast-paced, and enjoyable environment. Patience and problem-solving skills are required. The instructor should be passionate about music, like creating good music, be comfortable with a variety of genres, and be an excellent communicator with the students.
The class size will range between 8 and 25 people (an assistant will be assigned to larger classes). Lifting 25 pounds, pulling tables and chairs into place, sitting, standing, and setting up and taking down portable studio equipment are all required.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 per hour
