What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at Kreation Organic?
The Busser & Runner is a clean freak and a champion of service, teamwork, and awesomeness. The role will support the Kreative Chef and the rest of the kitchen Krew to maintain Kreation’s standards for Service. Style, Selection, and Excellence. The Busser & Runner exemplifies Kreation Kulture by delivering superior cleanliness, prompt service, and overall organization.
KORE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Helpful to the Store team in all aspects of store operations and service preparation; always on time
• Focused on delivering quick food service and ensuring safety and best kitchen and service practices by the Krew
• Eager to continue learning, helping out wherever needed, and being a true team player!
• Champions Kreation Service with friendly acknowledgement of every guest that comes into eye contact
• Aspires to perfectly deliver the Kreation steps of service; quickly clearing and setting inviting tables, properly refilling water
glasses, and attending to/communicating every guest need; ensures a picture-perfect dining area at all times
• Always finds a way to deliver a positive and Komplete guest experience to keep guests coming back by helping the guests or
immediately bringing an available server to assist
• Sets an example to the Krew with always available clean dishes, utensils, and drinkware
• A student of FIFO rotation and food labeling best practices; well-stocked service items such straws, napkins, cups, etc.
• Always has the right type and amount of service utensils, dishes, and supplies ready to go
• Safely and quickly moves deliveries into the right areas to maintain freshness
• Follows best practices regarding discounts, waste, sampling, Krew meals, and kitchen inventory management
• High standards for our brand with dishes, drinkware, and utensils that are free of chips, dents, bends, and cracks
• Always on the move to clean, prep, and deliver a fantastic Kreation experience for the restrooms, kitchen, and dining areas
• Sets the example in following best practices, avoiding shortcuts and monitoring inventory control and quality
• Ensures proper food handling procedures, temperature control, and food labeling are always in point
• Communicates frequently and openly with Kreative Chefs, Store KICs, and Krew members regarding any store opportunities
• Champions cleanliness, sanitation, and exceptional food health and safety standards; always ready to welcome a health
inspection with a perfectly passing kitchen and dining area!
Requirements
Kualifications
Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30 pounds up to 5 times per shift.
Must be comfortable with frequent exposure to steam, high/low temperatures, and humidity.
Flexible schedule, must be available weekends and closing shifts.
High energy, awesome communication, team-orientation, and diligent worker
? Must have a Food Handler’s Card and pass all the requisite training and certifications assigned to the role
