Kress is looking for a full time Controller to join our team! We are the leading manufacturer of specialty off-highway vehicles. Our growing finance department is seeking an accounting professional with experience in all phases of accounting. As a member of our management team, you’ll work to help in addressing complex business strategies to executing solutions.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all corporate financial guidelines and generally accepted accounting procedures plus all federal, state and local laws
Assist with Income Statement and Balance Sheet activity including processing and evaluation.
Assist with planning for future requirements including capital projects
Supervise all financial functions as requested by the Director of Finance
Job Duties:
- Ensure compliance with internal and external controls
- Complete annual and interim external audits
- Oversee the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Manage daily processes in accounting systems including accurate and timely reporting of daily revenue
- Provide management with profitability and financial analysis to include labor reviews, forecasts and budgets
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required
- Minimum three years of Financial Accounting experience
- Management experience
- Strong working knowledge of the accounts payable, income audit and general ledger reconciliation functions
- Strong written and verbal communications
