Kroll’s Expert Services practice provides valuation services and financial analysis to attorneys and companies involved in litigation, among others. Our professionals are trained to provide expert witness testimony in our areas of expertise. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform valuation analysis on a wide range of public and private entities within various industries using accepted and relevant approaches and theory. Design and work with financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction and option pricing analyses
- Organize and analyze large data sets to provide meaningful conclusions
- Independently gather data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction, client site visits, and independent research
- Assist in preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner
- Contribute directly to the development of work product, expert reports, proposals, presentations and publications communicated to current and prospective clients
- Quality assurance for expert reports and other work product
REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting or Finance), Management (with a concentration in Accounting or Finance), Engineering (with a minimum of four Junior and/or Senior level courses in Accounting, Economics or Finance) or MBA from an accredited college or university
- Must be available to start by September 2022
- Major GPA of 3.0
- Strong Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for conveying complex information in a clear and persuasive manner
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
- Thorough understanding of corporate finance principles and financial statement analysis
- Attention to detail, ability to manage time and workflow & focus on quality work
- Energetic and passionate attitude towards our work and towards working with a team
- Familiarity with, or interest to develop expertise in, statistical modeling software such as SAS, STATA, Python, R, etc. is a plus
- Must be able to work from one of the following office locations: Chicago, IL; Houston, TX; Atlanta, GA; Morristown, NJ; Boston, MA; New York City, NY; Washington, DC
