Main duties and responsibilities
Minimum of 1 year tanker experience with HazMat
CDL Class A License
DOT Certifications: Tanker Endorsement
HazMat Endorsement (N and H or X)
Valid DOT Medical Card
Clean Driving Record

Main duties and responsibilities
- Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials
- Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
- Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, follow applicable state and federal regulations
- Maintain load manifests and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed
- Obtain receipts or signatures for received or delivered goods when necessary
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading position, and check that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages to the vehicles immediately
- Report tanker defects, accidents or damages immediately
- Maintain a clean environments inside and outside the truck at all times
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer with each trip
- Wear company issued uniform
