We have two doctors and team of well-trained technicians and assistants. Our ideal candidate is:

Job Duties:

  • Administers anesthesia to animals under the direction of the veterinarian and monitors animals’ responses to anesthetics so that dosages can be adjusted.
  • Provide expert level training for assistants and other technicians.
  • Take lead in responding to and directing emergency situations in the absence of DVM
  • Take a lead role in ensuring that all animals are being cared for properly.
  • Stay abreast of best practices in veterinary medicine, including changes in clinical protocol.
  • Perform duties of a technician including but not limited to; nail trims, anal gland expression, administering vaccines, administering medications, performing blood draws, catheter placement, dental cleaning, client education, and triaging of patient presenting concerns.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Veterinary technician: 1 year (Preferred)
