What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Chemist position at Kryfton?
Duties
- Conduct chemical analysis and testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using a variety of analytical techniques such as spectrophotometry, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and wet chemistry methods.
- Develop and validate analytical methods for the analysis of pharmaceutical products in compliance with FDA regulations and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments, including spectrophotometers and HPLC systems.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of test results, protocols, and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to product quality or process improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements in analytical techniques, instrumentation, and regulatory requirements.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and techniques.
- Proficient in operating and troubleshooting laboratory instruments such as spectrophotometers, HPLC systems, and microscopy equipment.
- Experience with method development and validation for pharmaceutical analysis.
- Familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and FDA regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately record and analyze data.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members from different departments.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
