Position Description:
As a Document Management Associate - Loan Exceptions, you will manage loan exceptions, is cross-trained on other areas in the department to act as backup in the event of absence or high work volume, and is able to work independently to complete tasks, using resources, knowledge, and experience to guide decisions. Ideal applicants must learn and demonstrate great skill in using Credit Quest, Xperience and spreadsheets to gather, track and report information.

This position is ideal for someone that is willing and able to adapt to any situation and also has solid internal and external customer service abilities and clear communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:
Manages exceptions on banks current consumer, commercial loan portfolio to include, perfected liens, final title policies and other state and federal filings
Builds good working relationships with title companies, county offices, loan officers and other team members as needed to track and obtain information from them on exceptions
Responsible for working closely with other departments to ensure accurate and complete communication
Maintains Credit Quest and Xperience on the status of exceptions needed, so Officers and other staff can depend on the accuracy of the data in each system
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High School Graduate or GED required; Associates or undergraduate degree preferred.
An intermediate level of computer proficiency and literacy
Dependability, adaptability, drive and initiative are essential
Solid internal and external customer service abilities and communication skills
Able to make decisions on your own while working as a team
Able to multi-task and make quick decisions
Able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Able to view a computer screen for long periods of time
Must be able to speak and listen clearly both in person and on the phone
Fine visual acuity to read for accuracy
This job may require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds frequently
