Growing engineering firm seeking a Survey Technician with 1 years of experience.

Job Overview:

Work as a two-man crew while using current technology and software to the fullest extent possible. Must be able to perform field-work in all-weather conditions and assist the party chief with required duties. Two-man crew will perform mostly topographic and construction surveys.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to assist Crew Chief with responsibilities as assigned by the Survey Manager
  • Perform mathematical calculations and field check information
  • Assist with providing accurate and concise notes, reduce note data for consumption by clients and engineering staff
  • Maintain equipment to a high-level of functionality
  • Understand basic concepts of measurement errors and differential levelling

Requirements:

  • 1 Years of Field Experience required
  • Experience using Trimble Business Center preferred
  • Authorization to work in SD-US without sponsorship
  • Current Driver’s license
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. and work in all-weather conditions

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
