Position Summary
KTR Group Inc. is looking for an office/accounting clerk to join our team. The role of this individual is to assist with very basic order processing and bookkeeping responsibilities utilizing QuickBooks, and to provide various other administrative support to the functional areas of the company (Sales, Operations and Financial & Administration). This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
Responsibilities
- Assist with basic customer order entry, invoicing and tracking in QuickBooks
- Ensure accurate customer files and Accounts Receivable records in QuickBooks
- Utilize QuickBooks to generate basic business reporting such as sales reports, agings, and profit & loss statements
- Input other accounting entries in QuickBooks such as accounts payable, payroll and adjustments when instructed
- Follow up on order status to completion to help with ensuring sales and inventory records are accurate
- Assist logistics function of the company with periodic reconciliations of inventory (maintained in QuickBooks, Excel & Google Sheets)
- Provide meaningful contribution to improving work processes related to areas of responsibility
Skills & Qualifications
- 2 plus years of experience with order management, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping/reporting responsibilities
- Must be experienced with QuickBooks, including customer account maintenance, invoicing, accounting entries and report generation
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite and Google Sheets
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; customer oriented
- Organized and strong attention to detail
- Able to work effectively across various functional areas, in a warehouse office environment
