About Kūlia Academy
Kūlia Academy is a new school set to open its doors to 100 students August 2024 and expected to grow each year until 2031 when it will serve 700 students. Kūlia Academy focuses on artificial intelligence and data science. It is the first in the U.S. to offer a six-year program in these subjects. Students will spend 80% of their time in science classes doing experiments and investigations. The school believes that these skills are important for future jobs, and they want to help students prepare for them.

Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education, related field, or relevant experience.
- Hawaii Teacher Standards Board Licensure or eligibility to qualify

Salary and Benefits
Salary and compensation for this role is aligned to the salary schedules produced by the Hawaii State Teachers Association. Experience and additional professional credentials factors into placement on these schedules, and the classification and compensation department for the State of Hawai‘i will produce a salary range based on a multitude of factors.
