Position Title: Accounts Payable

Status: Full-time, non-exempt

About us: NonStop Local KHQ is the Inland Northwest’s leader in local news, weather and sports coverage on television and digital platforms! Affiliated with the NBC network, KHQ is the flagship station of KHQ Incorporated and Cowles Montana Media.

About this opportunity: The Accounts Payable position is essential to the financial performance of KHQ Incorporated. This successful candidate will process Accounts Payable for our television stations located in Washington state. This position will also share KHQ receptionist backup duties and provide support for the smooth running of the accounting office.

Primary Accountabilities: Process, batch, code, and input payables invoices for Washington locations; Review A/P invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment; Process ACH and A/P check selection, print and distribute checks as required; Maintain W-9 Forms; Month end processing, including accruals, and credit card reconciliation; Prepare and submit 1099/1096 Forms; Set up and maintain A/P vendor accounts; Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external customers, Microsoft Suite and Acumatica, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail, and must be self-motivated.

Other Requirements: The successful candidate must be able to deal with frequent interruptions, handle multiple projects, and have exceptional multi-tasking skills.

What we offer: Salary Range: $19.00/hour to $21.00/hour DOE
