Kung Fu Tea is a small business in Southlake, TX. We are looking to hire a dedicated, hardworking, and excited new barista.

Baristas are the face of Kung Fu Tea. They are an important part of our customers’ days, and experts in handcrafting delicious, perfect beverages. Baristas personally connect and create moments that make a difference and work together to create a welcoming store environment. They bring our mission and values to life for our customers and each other.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Food Handlers Card or be willing to get one
• Dependable, responsible, and self-motivated
• Friendly with a good personality
• Be a team player who works well with others
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment
• Able to multitask
• Able to handle constructive criticism
• Neat appearance and good hygiene
• Must have reliable transportation

Barista responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Adhering to all store policies and procedures.
• Making quality beverages following recipes and technique
• Take the cash register orders
• Cleaning and stocking the store
• Maintain store's overall cleanliness at all times
• Assist in restocking ingredients
• Assist in inventory control
• Follow all food health and safety requirements.
• Opening shift: Doing all daily tasks efficiently
• Closing shift: Clean/sanitize customer areas, back of house (kitchen), and restroom

Job Types: Part-time

Pay Scale

Training pay $9.50 plus tips

After you've mastered drink-building and properly closing your pay will increase to $10.00 plus tips
